I never heard of Bobby Bones before, I don't listen to radio, am not particularly interested in country music and on top of that, I'm over 70--about as far away from Bobby Bones audience as is possible--but I found this a warm, engaging memoir of growing up poor. I especially like his mantra that success in life is mostly about showing up on time and being dependable. I wish him a lot of luck and happiness; he deserves it.
